Jackson Motorplex Paying $10,000 to Win 410 Sprint Car A Main During Jackson County Fair Event on July 28

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (July 18, 2017) – Jackson Motorplex officials are excited to announce that the half-mile oval will host an all sprint car show on Friday, July 28, during the Jackson County Fair presented by ABDO, Eick & Meyers.

The 410 Outlaw Sprints Fueled by Casey’s General Store will pay $10,000 to the winner with the 24-car A Main paying $700 to start. Heartland Steel RaceSaver 305 Sprints and Heartland Racing Association non-wing sprints presented by HitchDoc, which will pay out $500 to win, will also be on the program.

The top six drivers in the 410 Outlaw Sprints Fueled by Casey’s General Store division are separated by less than 100 points. Mark Dobmeier holds a 42-point lead with Tim Kaeding, who has won the last two races, two points ahead of Brooke Tatnell for the runner-up position. Matt Juhl is 64 points out of the lead with Scott Winters 76 points behind Dobmeier. Lynton Jeffrey is 98 points from the top spot.

Kaeding and Kerry Madsen lead the way with two victories a piece. Paige Polyak, Ian Madsen, Brian Brown and Brad Sweet also have triumphs at the track this season.

Kaleb Johnson heads into this weekend with a 19-point lead in the Heartland Steel RaceSaver 305 Sprints championship standings over Trevor Serbus. Brandon Geldner is 21 points out of the lead with Shane Fick one point behind Geldner and Colin Smith only 25 points out of the top spot.

Brady Forbrook and Dusty Ballenger each have two wins with Johnson, Geldner, Bruce Anderson, Chris Duffy, Jesse Lindberg and Ben Woods also reaching Victory Lane.

Doug Schenck, Clinton Bruns and Brandon Halverson have recorded wins during Heartland Racing Association non-wing sprints presented by HitchDoc action at Jackson Motorplex this season.

The pits will open on July 28 at 3 p.m. with the main gates opening at 5 p.m. Hot laps are scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $22 for seniors 62-years-old and older and $10 for students ages 13 to 18. Children ages 12 and younger get in free. Pit passes are $30.

Local Casey’s General Stores have $5 off coupons that can be applied toward grandstand tickets.
