Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (July 4, 2017) – NASCAR veteran Kenny Schrader will be competing at Jackson Motorplex this Friday during Kenny Schrader Night presented by Bank Midwest.
Schrader will pilot a race car in the Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA a mods division, which will be joined by Nebraska 360 Sprints and Midwest Sprint Touring Series 360 Sprint Cars, Heartland Steel RaceSaver 305 Sprints, Bohl’s Small Engine IMCA sport mods and Fairmont Awards IMCA hobby stocks.
Schrader, who will participate in an autograph session following the night's races, will face a tough local contingent of Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA a mods competitors, including points leader Brandon Beckendorf, who also leads the series with two wins this season. Mat Hollerich, Jay Noteboom and Dan Menk have also been victorious at Jackson Motorplex this season.
Friday will mark the fifth 360 sprint car show of the season at Jackson Motorplex. Jack Dover leads the way with two wins while points leader Gregg Bakker and Thomas Kennedy have also visited Victory Lane.
Brady Forbrook and Dusty Ballenger each have two Heartland Steel RaceSaver 305 Sprints triumphs while points leader Kaleb Johnson, Brandon Geldner, Bruce Anderson and Ben Woods have each scored a win.
Matthew Looft leads the way in the Bohl’s Small Engine IMCA sport mods as he has earned a trio of victories to be tied with Jason Andrews atop the championship standings. Dan Paplow and Dustin Wiederhoeft have also recorded a trip into the Winner’s Circle.
D.J. Clinton and Justin Luinenburg have each won twice during Fairmont Awards IMCA hobby stocks action this season. Clinton holds a two-point lead over Luinenburg in the championship standings.
The pits will open at 4 p.m. with the main gates opening at 5 p.m. this Friday. Hot laps are scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors ages 62 and older and $5 for students ages 13 to 18. Children ages 12 and younger get in free. Pit passes are $30. Jackson Motorplex is offering a Family Pass, which includes two adults and up to three students, for only $33.
