Inside Line Promotions – BILLINGS, Mont. (June 28, 2017) – Five different classes of race cars will invade BMP Speedway this weekend for a doubleheader.
WISSOTA late models featuring the Wild West Late Model Tour, WISSOTA street stocks, IMCA modifieds and WISSOTA midwest modifieds will compete on both Friday and Saturday with the Rocky Mountain Sprint Car Series joining Saturday’s program.
Kelly Hample is undefeated through three WISSOTA late model races this season and he hasn’t finished outside the top two in the last five events at the track dating back to last year.
Cory Craver and Devin Kenaston are the only drivers to record WISSOTA street stock victories this season. Kenaston claimed the season opener and the third round while Craver won the second race as well as the last two events.
Eddie Kirchoff also has a two-race winning streak in the IMCA modifieds class as he joins Travis Davis as a two-time winner. Stewart Hayward has also scored a victory this season.
Rod Lorenz is the only driver to garner multiple WISSOTA midwest modifieds victories this season. He won the season opener before capturing the last two shows, including last Saturday’s Mid Mod Monster Mash. Marvin Gonzales and Cody Kuglin have also recorded wins this season.
Dennis Hurd leads the way in the Rocky Mountain Sprint Car Series as he’s captured two triumphs in the newly created class this season.
The front gates are slated to open at 5:30 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
Tickets each night are $14 ($12 pre-buy) for adults and $10 ($8 pre-buy) for seniors, military members and students ages 12 to 17 years old. Admission is free for children ages 11 and younger. Pit passes are $30 per person.
