The team at Aman Motorsports decided to make the drive this year to Marion, IL for the 5th annual High Banks Hustle. Boy, it did not disappoint! Team Stallard had a great group representing all weekend. The #35 machine wasn't fast enough for the weekend's competition, but held it's own. They started 4th and finished 9th in their heat on Friday night, which put them p14 for their qualifier. After finishing 15th, they would change a few things and get ready for Saturday night. Saturday night started off looking like the same song, second verse. The draw was almost the same, and started the team off p3 for the heat, finishing 9th. Once again, they started p14 for the qualifier. After making yet a few more chassis adjustments, they started to pick up some speed and finished 11th.
Though the dreams of making the tough A feature were gone, friends and Stallard teammates Frank Galusha, Jake Galusha, and Dan Souder all made the transfer into the big $10k dance on Saturday night. With a great race and a whirlwind finish, Frank Galusha was able to pick up the big win, with Dan Souder coming in 9th, and Jake Galusha in 14th.
Next up for Aman Motorsports is some local racing at KAM Raceway in Hastings, NE the next couple weeks, with some JayHusker racing and Sweet Springs Raceway action to follow!
