Park Jefferson revises Championship Sprint Lineup Procedure

Effective immediately, Park Jefferson officials, after discussing with drivers, have revised the lineup procedures for the Championship Sprint Cars. Changes will be effective immediately and are based on a draw-redraw procedure. Full information can be found at www.parkjefferson.com/rules on the Sprint Car Information PDF.

Format is as follows:

  1. Heat races will be held at all events.
    a. Lineups are determined by random pill draw.
    b. Draw is held at the pit shack where you come to sign in.
    c. Any team/driver that fails to draw in will be allowed to start at the tail of a Heat Race

  2. Number of cars in a heat race will depend on the number of cars signed in.
    a. All heat races will be 8 laps.
    i. In result of 1 heat race top 8 finishers will redraw
    ii. In result of 2 heat races top 10 finishers will redraw
    iii. In result of 3 heat races top 12 finishers will redraw
    iv. In result of 4 heat races top 16 finishers will redraw

  3. 0-8 cars will be in 1 heat race

  4. 9-16 cars will be in 2 heat races

  5. 17-24 cars will be in 3 heat races

  6. 25-32 cars will be in 4 heat races

  7. We will run 24 cars in the A Feature
    a. In the result of 25 or more cars the top 4 will transfer and redraw into the A-main.
    b. Finishers 5-8 in the heat will be put into a B-feature
    c. B-feature line ups will be determined by your heat race finish.
    d. Top 8 will be taken from the B-feature into the A-Main.
