Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (June 12, 2017) – Jackson Motorplex welcomes five divisions of race cars this Friday during Bank Midwest Night.
The Nebraska 360 Sprints will join the Midwest Sprint Touring Series for 360ci winged sprint cars competition with Heartland Steel RaceSaver 305 Sprints, Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA a mods, Bohl’s Small Engine IMCA sport mods and Fairmont Awards IMCA hobby stocks also on the program.
Defending track champion Gregg Bakker scored his first win of the season at the half-mile oval last Friday during the Midwest Sprint Touring Series event. Jack Dover has claimed two of the other three 360 sprint car main events with Thomas Kennedy also picking up a feature victory this season at Jackson Motorplex.
Kaleb Johnson enters this weekend with a 15-point lead in the Heartland Steel RaceSaver 305 Sprints championship standings. Trevor Serbus ranks second with last weekend’s winner Dusty Ballenger tied with Colin Smith for third – only 18 points out of the lead.
Kelly Shryock, who has produced a top five during all three races at the track this season, stands atop the Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA a mods standings. Mat Hollerich is 12 points back with Jay Noteboom only 14 points behind Shryock.
The closest battle is in the Bohl’s Small Engine IMCA sport mods as the top five drivers are separated by only seven points. Jason Andrews leads with Dan Paplow two points out of the top spot. Kyle Steuber is one point behind Paplow.
D.J. Clinton holds a one-point advantage over Justin Luinenburg in the Fairmont Awards IMCA hobby stocks standings with Ben Peterson only three points out of the top spot.
The pits for Friday’s show are scheduled to open at 4 p.m. with the front gates opening at 5 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students ages 13 to 18 and free for children ages 12 and younger. Pit passes are $30. Additionally, there will be a lot of giveaways to the fans throughout the night.
