Inside Line Promotions – BURLISON, Tenn. (June 7, 2017) – Brandon Hanks has momentum entering a pair of Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions races in Illinois this weekend.
Hanks is coming off his first career top five in a 410ci winged sprint car and will use that confidence when he invades Lincoln Fairgrounds in Lincoln on Friday and Macon Speedway in Macon on Saturday. It will be his debut at both tracks.
“I really enjoy racing a 410 sprint car and the more laps I get the more I will improve,” he said. “I think it’s important to go to new tracks to continually push yourself and racing with the All Stars is another way to test myself.”
Hanks has two career All Star starts. He placed 11th in the B Main last September at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, before advancing into the main event and scoring a 19th-place result the following night at Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio.
“The All Stars have a tough group of racers so I’m looking forward to the challenge,” he said. “Plus, I know there are a lot of talented drivers in Illinois so we’ll need to be on top of our game this weekend to produce good results.”
Hanks has taken to racing in the state of Illinois as he earned his career-best fourth-place finish in the state on May 26 at Jacksonville Speedway in Jacksonville.
