ASCS Frontier Region Kicks Off Friday At Black Hills Speedway and Saturday Gillette Thunder Speedway

TULSA, Okla. (May 31, 2017) The fifth season of competition for the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region is set to fire off this Friday, June 2 at Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City, S.D. and Saturday, June 3 at Gillette Thunder Speedway in Gillette, Wy.

The first of four events on the 2017 lineup for the half-mile Black Hills Speedway, the series last visit was the 2016 Rushmore Rumble, which is scheduled for round two on July 14 and 15. A part of the Brodix ASCS Frontier Reginal lineup since 2014, four previous visits have been co-sanctioned with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour with Johnny Herrera having won the last three outings. Brad Loyet is the only other winner with a 2014 score.

Gillette Thunder Speedway will see two nights in 2017. Belle Fourche shoe Ned Powers found his way to Victory Lane in the series most recent visit on August 13, 2016. Roughly three-eighths of a mile in distance, three Brodix ASCS Frontier Regional trips since 2015 has seen just as many winners with Aaron Reutzel and Trever Kirkland joining Powers on the list of winners.

Presented by Bud Light, Friday, June 2 at Black Hills Speedway will get underway at 7:30 P.M. (MDT) and will see Non-Wing Sprint Cars in action as well as Wissota Midwest Modifieds, IMCA A-Mods, and Wissota Mod-Fours. Black Hills Speedway is located at 2467 Jolly Ln. in Rapid City, S.D. Saturday, June 3 at Gillette Thunder Speedway is presented by Bighorn Beverage and features B-Mods, Mod-Fours, Late Models, Thunder Stocks, and Street Stocks in addition to the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region.
