This weekend started out with racing on Saturday in Glyndon, MN at Buffalo River Race Park, after a few laps into the heat race the bolts holding the rear axle had broke causing the #18 car to have to pull off the track. With help with Kyle and Josh the #18 got put back together quickly and was ready in time for the feature. The feature would start with the #18 car in the 12th position after many cautions throughout the feature the #18 car worked its way all the way up to 5th place and that's where it finished! A great accomplishment a first top 5 finish for the year, a guy definitely cannot complain!
Sunday the #18 car was in Greenbush, MN where they made it through the first heat of pure stocks and two heats of lightning sprints, the #18 car had just pulled on to the track to begin the 3rd heat when the red flag was dropped for a rain delay. Cars quickly were loaded out of the rain only for the races to be cancelled shortly after due to that wonderful Mother Nature!
A huge thanks to all the fans for the support this weekend and an even bigger thank you to all the sponsors whom are making this season possible for the #18 car! Next weekend we are back in Greenbush on Saturday followed by Glyndon on Sunday! Hope to see you all there and that Mother Nature works in our favor this time!
