Memorial Day weekend will see the first appearance of wingless sprint car action with the Wingless Sprint Series. Last year saw Rob Lindsey of Sherwood, Ore pick up the win over Forrest Grove, Ore driver Jake Gilman and Jonathan Jorgenson of Tacoma. Also on hand will be the Cut Rate Auto Parts Street Stocks and Outlaw Tuners. The last time the Street Stocks took to the 3/8 banked clay oval, Montesano's Scott Fritts pick up his first career win, holding off a hard charging Jack Parshall of Hoquiam and Shane Kerrigan of Aberdeen. The Outlaw Tuners took to the raceway last Saturday night with Tenino driver Josh Wharton picking up the win over Aberdeen's Tyler Sundstrom and Chad Norton of Tenino.
After the action on the raceway the fans will be treated to a HUGE FIREWORK SHOW! Gates will open at 5:30PM with racing at 7PM! For more information and ticket info go to www.graysharborraceway.com
