Inside Line Promotions – SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (May 22, 2017) – Big Game Motorsports is slated to compete at a pair of familiar tracks this weekend.
The Muddy backed team will race at Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn., on Friday during the Danny Williams Memorial before venturing to Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Saturday.
Kerry Madsen guided the team to a victory during the lone visit to Jackson Motorplex earlier this month. This weekend’s show also provides the final opportunity to test prior to the 39th annual AGCO Jackson Nationals, which will be held at the half-mile oval June 1-3 with a stout $25,000 going to the winner of the finale.
“We felt really good the first time out at Jackson so hopefully we can build on that and go into the AGCO Jackson Nationals with as much momentum as possible,” said Madsen, who leads the championship standings at the track.
Madsen has competed at Knoxville Raceway three times this season. He has set quick time during qualifying twice and has produced feature results of second, seventh and fourth, respectively.
“We’ve started each night really strong, but have struggled with the balance in the main event,” he said. “Our focus is to continue improving so hopefully we can take another step forward this Saturday.”
He ranks third in the championship standings.
Madsen was scheduled to compete last Saturday at Knoxville Raceway and Sunday at Angell Park Speedway, but both shows were rained out.
