Bellm Takes on ASCS Warrior Region at Lucas Oil Speedway

Lonnie Wheatley, NIXA, Mo. (May 5, 2017) – After a soggy weekend, Kyle Bellm and the Resource Asset Management Solutions (RAMS) No. 14k Sprint Car team get back to action with the ASCS Warrior Region at Wheatland, Missouri’s Lucas Oil Speedway on Saturday night.

Last week’s planned events at Callaway Raceway and Lake Ozark Speedway both fell to rain early on for the PPG Automotive Finishes/Colorvision team.

“We’re ready to get back to racing,” Bellm says.

Saturday’s card will set the stage for a trio of events next weekend beginning with Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour action at Kansas City’s Lakeside Speedway on Thursday and then Regional events at Humboldt and Springfield (MO) on Friday and Saturday.

“Saturday at Lucas Oil Speedway will be a good shakedown for us just to make sure we’re ready for the National Tour race at Lakeside,” Bellm explains of the VP Racing Fuels/Schure Built Suspensions team. “We should be in good shape.”

Bellm goes into Saturday’s card coming off of a pair of top-five finishes including a runner-up outing last time out at Randolph County Raceway on April 22 in the Christian County Collision Repair/Bybee Lawn Care machine.

Bellm has enjoyed some strong runs in the past at Lucas Oil Speedway, including a runner-up finish in the 2016 ASCS Speedweek finale.

He will be looking for another strong run Saturday night in the Schaeffer Oil/Prater Designs/The Engine Heater entry.

2017 Quick Stats: 6 races, 2 top-fives, 2 top-tens.
