Inside Line Promotions – WINDOM, Minn. (May 2, 2017) – Kerry Madsen and Big Game Motorsports have a pair of marquee events in the Midwest on tap for this weekend.
The Muddy backed team will compete with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series on Friday at Missouri State Fair Speedway in Sedalia, Mo., for the Sedalia Show-Me Showdown before invading Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Saturday.
“I haven’t run Sedalia in a few years so I’m looking forward to getting back there and we were strong the last time out at Knoxville so hopefully we’ll have a great weekend,” Madsen said.
Madsen advanced from 12th to sixth during his most recent race at Missouri State Fair Speedway in 2012 with the World of Outlaws.
“It’s a big, fast track,” he said. “It’s important to keep your momentum up as best as you can. I know time trials will determine a lot as well so it will be critical to put down a strong lap during qualifying.”
Madsen set quick time, advanced from sixth to third place in a heat race and finished second in the main event last month during the season opener at Knoxville Raceway.
“We had a shot at the win and that’s all you can ask for at any race,” he said. “I think we’ve got great notes for the track so hopefully we can duplicate our quick time, move forward in the heat race and this time finish one spot better in the A Main.”
