The Park Jefferson Speedway returns to racing action this Saturday night with the make-up event presented by Lieber Construction. This event will serve as the makeup to the Road to the Iron Cup event for Fox 620 Sport Compacts. Drivers in the Sport Compact division will be competing for $150 to win, as well as an additional $25 in a random draw for positions 2-5 and $25 for a random draw for drivers 5-20. In addition every driver will earn a $25 off coupon for the 2017 Iron Cup on September 15-16.
Many of the area’s top pilots in the Fox 620 Sport Compact division will be on hand to compete for the top honors. Sport Compact drivers will be the feature event on the night. Also competing will be 5 other classes of cars, including the very popular Keizer Wheels Championship 360 Sprint Cars. Many of the other divisions will see some significant changes at the top of the point standings as there are a number of drivers who will be headed elsewhere over the next few weeks.
Gates open this weekend at 5pm for the nights racing with racing scheduled to begin after hot laps, which are scheduled for 6:30. Adult tickets are $12, seniors 70+ are $5 and children 6-16 are just $2. Pit passes are $30 and the clubhouse pass can be purchased with any admission ticket or pit pass for $12.
