PETERSEN MEDIA- With the USAC NOW600 Coastal Clash a couple weeks away we are pleased to announce that we have secured a sponsorship through Southern Pacific Farms and www.onefasttee.com to offer $500 to the nonwing champion of the series and $250 to the restricted champion of the series.

In it’s first year of existence, the USAC NOW600 Coastal Clash will run 5 races between Ventura Raceway and Santa Maria Raceway for the Nonwing 600s and Restricted 600s. Those dates will be:
May 6 Santa Maria
June 3 Ventura
June 17 Santa Maria
July 8 Ventura
October 7 Santa Maria
“It is a new series that we are all really excited about,” Lockwood added.
“Micros have been huge in California for years, and we are hoping the USAC sanction brings more notierity to the class, and with this series counting for points in the National championship where the nonwing National champion will get a Midget opportunity, we are hoping that it helps the class continue to grow.”
