ASCS Warrior Region To Take On Randolph County Raceway

TULSA, Okla. (April 19, 2017) With the 2017 season off and running, the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps heads for round two as the series hits the high-banks of the Randolph County Raceway in Moberly, Mo. on Saturday, April 22.

Facing off against the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network to open up the 2017 season this past weekend in Sedalia, Mo. the series is led into this weekend by defending champion, Jonathan Cornell, who parked his Kiowa Line Builders No. 28 on the podium with Sam Hafertepe, Jr. and Johnny Herrera this past Saturday evening.

In the Warrior Region’s last outing at the Randolph County Raceway on September 3, 2016 with Cornell ending his night in Victory Lane over a field of 22 with Randy Martin and Taylor Walton finishing out the night’s podium. Jonathan also topped the action earlier in 2016 on July 16.

Randy Martin enters the weekend second in tour standings with Cody Baker, Miles Paulus, and Chris Morgan make up the top-five in tour standings.

Saturday, April 22 will get underway at 7:00 P.M. (CDT) and will include B-Mods, Street Stocks, and 4-Cyl. Randolph County Raceway is located at 4081 Hwy. 24 in Moberly, Mo. The 2017 season represents the 26th year of sanctioning Sprint Car racing across the United States for the American Sprint Car Series. From the National Tour, to the seven regional tours that make up the ASCS Nation, over 150 races can be found at 75 tracks across 23 states.
