BM Motorsports Excited for the 2017 Racing Season
Lincoln, Nebraska, 4/10/2017 – BM Motorsports is excited for the 2017 racing season.
BM Motorsports raced last weekend at the I-80 Speedway. Night 1, they started on the pole of the heat race and was leading the race until the car lost power steering and the engine died. The crew made the necessary repairs and they came from 10th to 2nd in the B main. Started the A Main in 20th and drove up to the top 10 just a few laps in until a huge dirt clod hit the side of the hood and cowl and ripped the fasteners for the ignition box out of the cowl, thus killing the engine. With the help of some grateful competitor’s crew, they replaced the fasteners and was able to restart at the tail of the field (21st) and ended up finishing 16th.
Night 2 results were they started 3rd in the heat and finished 2nd. “Car was fast, just kinda fell in line and rode around”, driver Jason Martin said. “In the feature, we misjudged the race track and had the car tick to snug the first 15 laps. We just maintained until the fuel load went away and started charging forward! Ended up a solid 9th. We can't wait for the heat of the summer and slicker race tracks!”
BM Motorsports is looking to incorporate someone into the race team who has a strong marketing background and experience in the field. With marketing and corporate sponsorship being the key to success in all forms of motorsports, BM Motorsports wants to make sure they do everything the right way, and to do that they will need to have all the pieces of the puzzle in place to complete the entire picture. BM Motorsports plans to compete in the nation’s marquee 305 and 360 events, and possibly 410 races if there is someone out there who is interested in providing an engine to compete with. Those events, as well as every other event that they can compete in are great opportunities to find marketing partners and to reach a broad customer base that is not segregated by color of collar.
