Snyder Aims for Double Wins This Weekend During Season-Opener

Relentless Promotions - WAVERLY, Neb. (April 5, 2017) - Stu Snyder is focused on the first race of the season as he and the SLS Motorsports team kick-off the 2017 sprint car season at I-80 Speedway for the 2-day Bugeater Bash with the Nebraska 360 Sprint Series.

Snyder will take a Myers Racing Engines 360 and a new race car for SLS Motorsports to the double-header on Friday and Saturday at the 4/10-mile banked dirt track in Greenwood, Neb., where he finished with a top-5 at last year's event.

"The team has worked hard this off-season and everything went really well when putting our operation together. We added a new car to our team this winter, and I'm looking forward to hitting the track with the new piece," Snyder said. "We were worried that we weren't going to have a motor in time to run, but I really have to give my hat off to Myers Racing Engines out of Ness City, Kan. who has made sure we kicked off the season on time and put a 360 power plant underneath the hood."

Snyder looks to capatalize this weekend on his season-beginning fifth place finish at I-80 Speedway last year.

"It would be a great start to the season to come out with a win," he said. "A lot of tracks in surrounding states haven't started their seasons yet, so there is shaping up to be some great competition in town."
