Taylor Welcomes SuperClean as New Partner

Inside Line Promotions – GREEN RIVER, Wyo. (March 9, 2017) – To put it simply, Zac Taylor is aiming for championships in 2017. To help him accomplish those racing goals, SuperClean will support the sprint car and midget teams he will be piloting.

“We started talking to the folks at SuperClean during the Chili Bowl Nationals and they agreed to become a sponsor in 2017 and I couldn’t be more excited,” he said. “For SuperClean to come on board is a big step forward in my racing career.”

The 18-year-old garnered six wins racing his family 305ci winged sprint car last season. He also campaigned Todd Henry’s midget in 2016, finishing second in the Rocky Mountain Midget Racing Association championship standings and earning the series’ Rookie of the Year Award.

“Our goal this year is to win races and championships,” Taylor said. “We have our schedule laid out where we could win the track championship in the sprint car in Calhan (El Paso Raceway), in Holyoke (Phillips County Raceway), in Lamar (Lamar Speedway) and the RMMRA. We are going to race somewhere around 40 races … as many races as we can.

“Todd Henry put together a new motor for 2017 and I’m excited to go after that midget title. And, depending on funding, we may purchase a 360ci sprint car engine.”

Taylor’s season is tentatively scheduled to kick off on April 22 behind the wheel of the sprint car at El Paso County Raceway. His second midget event of 2017 – he competed in January at the Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa, Okla. – will be May 13 at El Paso County Raceway with the RMMRA. Taylor will also race his sprint car the same night.
