Weather Wins This One, Possible 3 Race Weekend Coming Up
The Champion Racing Oil/BR Motorsports Central PA Sprint Cars were chased from Saturday to Sunday by Winter weather at Lincoln Speedway. With freezing temperatures again on Sunday morning the show was canceled. Port Royal Speedway is opening for the 2017 season with racing at 5pm this Saturday. With Lincoln running their show at 2pm that makes for a possible double race day. Many fans are able to complete the double but not many teams try it. Danny Dietrich has already said he will be trying it again. He was the only team to attempt it last year. Sunday afternoon at 2pm Williams Grove Speedway opens to start their season off with a rare Sunday afternoon show. The last one completed was in 2008. It is only the 2nd weekend in March and teams can possibly get 3 shows in. The teams racing in Florida last weekend will also be back.
The Champion Racing Oil/BR Motorsports Central PA Sprint Cars points stay the same with the weather cancellation.
