Driven Midwest NOW600 Expands into California with the USAC NOW600 Coastal Clash Region

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (February 11, 2017) - The Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass has expanded into the "Golden State" of California as USAC and NOW600 present the Coastal Clash Region in 2017.

"The 2017 season keeps getting bigger and better with our partnership with the United States Auto Club." commented NOW600 Series Founder, Terry Mattox. "Doug Lockwood and myself have been in discussions of how we can work together and build up a great Micro Sprint program throughout the country under both the USAC and NOW600 banners."

The USAC NOW600 Coastal Clash will feature five events along the Highway 101 corridor in Southern California.

Three nights of the USAC NOW600 Coastal Clash will take place at the Santa Maria Raceway in Santa Maria, Calif. with the other two nights being showcased at the Ventura Raceway in Ventura, Calif..

The five race series will feature the Non-Wing and Restricted 'A' Clss divisions.

These five events will count towards the USAC Micro Sprint National Championship as well as the NOW600 Coastal Clash Region points.

Drivers in the USAC NOW600 Coastal Clash must be USAC members in order to receive points for USAC or NOW600.

5/6/2017: Santa Maria Raceway - Santa Maria, Calif.

6/3/2017: Ventura Raceway - Ventura, Calif.
6/17/2017: Santa Maria Raceway - Santa Maria, Calif.

7/8/2017: Ventura Raceway - Ventura, Calif.

10/7/2017: Santa Maria Raceway - Santa Maria, Calif.

2017 marks the fifth season of competiton for the Driven Midwest USAC Micro Sprint Series sanctioning 600cc Micro Sprint racing in Oklahoma, California, Texas, Kansas, and Missouri.
