With the releasing of the new single plate restrictor. We here at the Lonestar 600's will allow this for the 2017 season. This plate in our opinion is safer and easier. Safer for the drivers and easier for the tech man. The old style restrictor's will also be allowed. They will be checked with a go no go gauge regardless. Here is how the rule is written.
Old Style Restrictor Plates - Must have hole diameter .750 inside, outside must be tight against inside of boot, absolutely no allowance, plate must be against carburetors. Restrictors must be flat, no cones.
New Style Single Restrictor Plate – King Racing Product Single Plate Restrictor will be the only Single Plate style restrictor allowed. Must have hole diameter .750 inside. Must be bolted down to the head via the carburetor boot adapters. Nothing other than the o-ring’s may be in between boots and head. No alterations of any sorts may be done to the plate.
