DIGITAL PHOTOS NEEDED OF 2010 NATIONAL SPRINT CAR HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (May 6, 2010) - Following a successful first-time video presentation at last year’s twentieth annual National Sprint Car Hall of Fame induction ceremonies, the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum is seeking digital photos of its “Class of 2010” inductees for use on twin large screens in the banquet hall. All photos need to be e-mailed by their original photographers, amateur and professional, by May 20 to tschmeh@sprintcarhof.com and need to be in a .jpg format.

According to museum executive director Bob Baker, “We really received a lot of positive comments after last year’s banquet, so we’ve decided to do it again on Saturday, June 5, for this year’s inductees: Bobbie Adamson, Hank Arnold, Fred Linder, Frank Riddle, Hal Robson, Herman Schurch, Clyde Adams, Casey Luna, Don Shepherd, George Bentel, Fred Brownfield, and Ben Krasner. It seems we’ve created a new tradition at our afternoon banquet.”

Those with questions on this request can call museum curator Tom Schmeh, who is working with media coordinator Kris Krohn on this effort, at 1-800-874-4488. Those wanting more information on the non-profit National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum, which is open seven days a week, year-round, are encouraged to visit its web site at www.sprintcarhof.com or call 641-842-6176.
