Inside Line Promotions – TULSA, Okla. (Oct. 24, 2016) – The Driven Midwest NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass makes its way to the revamped Wichita Speedway this Saturday for the Falls Town Showdown.
The series visited the bullring in Wichita Falls, Texas, back in March when the track was known as Red River Speedway. It is now under new management and this weekend the Driven Midwest NOW600 National Stock Non-Wing and Restricted ‘A’ Class divisions will be the two featured micro sprint classes. The event is co-sanctioned by the Inside Line Promotions NOW600 North Texas Region presented by FFE Motorsports and the Edge Grafix NOW600 Sooner Region.
Frank Flud dominated the weekend by winning both nights in the Stock Non-Wing division on March 4-5 during the most recent visit. Kaylee Bryson and Blake Scott each grabbed a win in the NOW600 Restricted ‘A’ Class during that doubleheader.
In the Stock Non-Wing division, three-time winner Steven Shebester leads with 998 points. Hunter Gengo is second with 803 points and Collin Traylor has 710 points in third place.
Coming into the final race of the season and after two months of no competition, Daison Pursley leads the Restricted ‘A’ Class championship standings with 918 points. Ryder Laplante follows with 849 points while Blake Scott sits in third with 632 points.
The gates open at 4 p.m. with the drivers meeting to follow at 5:15 p.m. Hot laps start at 6 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and military, $8 for children ages 6 to 12 and children 5 and younger are free.
