With only 2 races left in the season 30 600's, 9 Restrictor's and 4 Jr Sprint's showed up for there last few chances to get a chance to race. The Jr Sprint's were out first. Christopher Townsend set the pace to take the green. Going down the front stretch Christopher Townsend and CJ Jones come together. Christopher turns and funds head onto the wall collecting Hunter Dimmer. CJ would be able to avoid stopping in the wreck and roll on. We would get them untangled and get them lined back up. Christopher would pull off the track and retire for the night. CJ Jones would lead them around for the second restart. He would jump out front and lead it green to checker. CJ would win his 3rd feature their year.
Next out would be the Restrictor's. Chase Randall making his debut with the Lonestar 600's would lead the field to the green. They would march into turn 1 and Chase would win the drag race with Ryder Laplante. Ryder would do his best to get around Chase for all 15 laps. Unfortunately Chase was very fast and would win it. Chase would lead all 15 laps and #parkedit in victory lane.
Last out would be the large field of non wing 600's. After all the heats and B feature the A feature would be set. Tyler Harris would redraw and find himself on the pole. He would lead the field to the green flag. The race would be called back due to Steve Padgett pulling his 6s off the track. His car would not make it back onto the track. They would get lined back up side by side and we would try it again. Tyler jump out front and show the field around the track. There would be a couple yellows to single car spins. Tyler would stay out front being challenged by Cody Freeman. Cody would push it to hard on lap 12 and get into the back of Tyler and Cody would spin it out. He would collect John McAfee, the points leader Wyatt Rector, and Brad Wesp. All 4 cars would go to the tail of the field. Tyler still out front had new challengers on his tail now as he led the field to another green flag start. 3 laps later on lap 15 the caution would fly for a car sitting the wrong way in turn 2. Tim Fergeson would slow down for the caution and Bruce Crockett right on Tim's tail would not slow as fast. Bruce would jump Tim's right rear sending them both flipping. Tim would barrel roll a few times landing on all fours. Bruce however would win the high flying award for tonight as he would take a violent ride sending him up the catch fence and almost exiting the track over the top of the fence. They would both climb out of there cars ok. The field would get there cars fired back up and get in line. Tyler would once again lead the field to the green. The checkers would fly and Tyler Harris would win the race and #parked it in victory lane. Unfortunately that game would be short lived as Tyler would fail post race inspection on weight. This would make Christopher Larson the winner.
Thanks to all the drivers for coming out. Next race will be the season finale back at Gator Motorplex Oct 29th for the Halloween Havoc.
