Next week is the busiest and most important week of the sprint car season; the Knoxville Nationals. Dakota says his team is ready for the challenge. "After struggling so much earlier this season, Jay and John Hughes have joined our team and our set ups are more competitive and consistent." This is is not a complete surprise as Jay and Dakota have been a successful team since Dakota won the Box Stock Kart Track Championship at English Creek Speedway when Dakota was 10 years old. "Jay has a unique ability to watch the car and translate what he sees to what I am feeling. We always on the same page. I'm a young driver racing at the pinnacle of this sport's competition and it's really hard to be fast and competitive without a great crew chief who really understands me. I am happy to be reunited with Jay and John!"
