TULSA, Okla. (September 8, 2016) The Brodix ASCS Frontier Region returns to action this Friday, September 9 at the Big Sky Super Nationals presented by Tractor and Equipment, Co. along with T&E CAT Rental Store at the Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade, Mont.

Friday’s racing action will also be dedicated to the memory of long time car owner, Harvey Ostermiller, who passed away over the Labor Day Weekend.

The final appearance for the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region at the Gallatin Speedway in 2016, the series is down to the final three runs of the season with Canada’s Skylar Gee at the front of the field with a 106 point advantage over South Dakota’s D.J. Brink.

With five ASCS wins to his credit in 2016, Gee has had a breakout year to amass seven overall wins. Going into the weekend, Gee looks to continue a personal record as the No. 99 has not finished outside the top-five in the last 10 outings with six of those ending as wins.

Still in hunt of his first victor of the season, Brink has a best finish of second on the season at the Billings Motorsports Park on July 30. David Hoiness holds third in tour standings with Damon McCune and Jeremy McCune rounding out the top-five. Trever Kirkland, Ben Holmberg, Kelly Miller, Nate Maxwell, and Shad Peterson make up the top-ten.

Race No. 69 for the ASCS Frontier Region since 2013, Friday, September 9 will get underway at 7:00 P.M. (MDT) and will include IMCA Modifieds, WISSOTA Street Stocks, and WISSOTA Super Stocks.
