Inside Line Promotions – GERMANTOWN, Tenn. (Sept. 6, 2016) – Sammy Swindell is Montana bound to tackle the $7,500-to-win Dan Laber Memorial this weekend.

Swindell will drive for former World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series driver Tim Gee during the two-day NSA Shootout event at Billings Motorsports Park this Friday and Saturday.

“It’s been quite a while since I’ve been up there so I’m really looking forward to this weekend,” Swindell said. “Mike Quigley and his team at Billings Motorsports Park are doing a great job and when the ride opened up with Tim’s team I thought it was a great opportunity. Not only will I get to race for good money, but I can help Tim’s son (Skylar) as he is building his career.”

Swindell said he remembers visiting Victory Lane in Billings, but said it has been a while since racing in the region.

“That part of the country is very scenic,” he said. “While the objective is to go to win a couple of races this weekend we’re also looking forward to taking part in some things in the community and seeing that area of the country again.”

Swindell has recorded five feature victories this season, including the 360 Knoxville Nationals last month at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, where approximately 100 competitors battled for the title at the prestigious event.
