Inside Line Promotions – FINDLAY, Ohio (Aug. 17, 2016) – Caleb Helms has a busy weekend on tap as he will head east for four races with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions.
The action begins on Thursday at Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pa., before a stop at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pa., on Friday. Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pa., hosts a race on Saturday and the weekend wraps up on Sunday at Lebanon Valley Speedway in West Lebanon, N.Y.
“I love racing in Central Pennsylvania,” he said. “The competition is tough and the tracks are tough. It’s always a fun challenge.”
The races at Grandview Speedway and at Lebanon Valley Speedway will be the debut for Helms, who welcomes new venues to his schedule.
“I like going to new tracks and trying to adapt quickly,” he said. “I’ve heard that Grandview has more banking to it and Lebanon Valley is a bigger track. Hopefully we can start out strong and be in contention during our first time at both places.”
This weekend will mark his season debut at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway.
“Racing in Central Pennsylvania is one of the biggest challenges we face each year,” he said. “The goal is to put down a good qualifying lap to make the heat race inversion each night and give ourselves a shot at advancing into the dash.”
Helms was rained out last Saturday at Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio.
