Sat night was up in the air if the night would even happen. Rain storms were surrounding Gulf Cost Speedway. The storm would however hold off for most of the night. Christian Krueger would be the only Jr. Sprint that was on the ticket. He would win his feature, The restrictors would take to the fast track and find Tipton jump out front and lead every lap. We would get the 600's out on the track and make a few laps under caution due to a little sprinkle. Well that sprinkle never stopped and turned into a heavy shower and the race would be postponed. The heavy shower turn into torrential rain and the race would be called. Everyone would scramble to get out of the pits to not get stuck. The 600 feature will be made up next Sat 8/20.
Next weekend will be a double header. Friday night will be at Golden Triangle Raceway Park. The Non Wing 600's and Restrictor's will be in attendance Friday night. Then we will go back to Gulf Coast Speedway Saturday 8/20. Non Wing 600's, Restrictor's, and Jr Sprint's will be showing the crowd around the track.
