Inside Line Promotions – WINDOM, Minn. (July 19, 2016) – Big Game Motorsports and Danny Lasoski will return to action this weekend during a National Sprint League doubleheader.
The Muddy sponsored team, which ranks second in the NSL championship standings, is set to compete on Friday at Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn., and Saturday at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa.
“We’re really excited to get back to racing together,” Lasoski said. “Guy Forbrook got a chance to race with his son over the weekend, which is priceless, and I brought my car out to Eldora Speedway for the Kings Royal. We didn’t have the results we wanted, but we’re going to take another shot at it tonight at Lernerville with the World of Outlaws.”
Lasoski and the Muddy backed team have won four times at Knoxville Raceway this season, but are looking for the first trip to Victory Lane at Jackson Motorplex.
“We’ve shown speed,” Lasoski said. “We ran second at the earlier NSL race. We just haven’t cracked the Winner’s Circle. We’re hoping to get that done on Friday.”
Lasoski has results of second and seventh, respectively, at Jackson Motorplex this season. He’s raced much more often at Knoxville Raceway, where he has finished in the top 10 during all 13 races with nine top fives.
“It’s definitely home away from home,” he said. “I love the race track and the fans.”
Lasoski enters Saturday’s event at Knoxville Raceway with a 363-point lead in the championship standings with three races remaining this season.
