TULSA, Okla. (July 13, 2016) For the second time in 2016, the Lucas Oil ASCS Southern Outlaw Sprint will headline the Deep South Speedway in Loxley, Ala. with action scheduled for Saturday, July 16.

The second round of competition on the 2016 lineup, Tennessee’s Brian Bell claimed his first Lucas Oil ASCS Southern Outlaw Sprint triumph of the season. Rolling to Victory Lane in the series last outing at Hattiesburg Speedway on July 2 with a sweep of the Flip Flop 50, Bell has three career wins with the Southern Outlaw Sprints.

Since the start of the season, five drivers have added their name to the list of winners with the Lucas Oil ASCS Southern Outlaw Sprints, but it’s the defending champion that leads the way going into the Saturday showdown atop the four-tenths mile clay oval. In the season’s first visit on May 5, Miller went out early with an 18th place finish.

Rebounding from that early misstep, Miller leads the driver standings by 63 markers over Shane Morgan. Third is held by Kyle Amerson with Joey Schmidt and Ryan Moore making up the top-five. Tristan Lee, Brandon Blendon, Brian Bell, and Butch David complete the top-ten.

Saturday, July 16 at the Deep South Speedway will open at 5:00 P.M. with Hot Laps at 6:00 P.M. (CT). The night’s card will include Modifieds, Outlaw Street, Hobby Stocks, Pure Stocks, and Stingers. Deep South Speedway is located at 32971 AL-59 in Loxley, Ala. For more information, log onto http://www.deepsouthspeedway.net.
