Inside Line Promotions – BILLINGS, Mont. (July 2, 2016) – Kelly Hample, Hank Berry and Jason George ventured to Victory Lane on Friday at Billings Motorsports Park during the opening night of the two-day Rebel Run Weekend showcasing the Warriors Rendezvous.
Hample outlasted a field of 27 competitors and he advanced from third to score his third late models triumph of the season, which was worth $1,000 and gave him the points lead in the class. Berry earned a runner-up result with Eric Mass placing third, 11th-starting Jim Harris fourth and Rob Odegard fifth.
Berry held off Eddie Kirchoff to claim the $1,000-to-win modifieds main event. Dustin Cady scored a third-place finish, Joey Price ended fourth and Travis Peery rounded out the top five.
Jason George maneuvered from fourth to capture his first super stocks victory of the season. Ryan Fasching garnered a second-place finish with Vance Lorenz third, Jace Lorenz fourth and Doug Blair fifth.
Saturday will showcase the weekend finale with the pits opening at 3 p.m. and the front gate at 5:30 p.m. Racing is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $14 for adults; $10 for seniors, military members and students ages 12 to 17 years old; $5 for children ages 7 to 11 years old; and free for children ages 6 and younger.
