RIDENOUR PASSES DAGGETT FOR GLSS POINTS LEAD
6/26/2016: Crystal Motor Speedway, Crystal, MI
Arriving in Crystal on Saturday was GLSS points leader Dustin Daggett, with a 32 point lead over Chase Ridenour. With Ridenour winning his heat race and winning the dash, he was sending notice that he was right behind Daggett but looking at passing!
When Daggett pulled off the track before the feature, it was all but assured that Ridenour would take the lead and leave Crystal on top of the points. When the weekend ended, Ridenour stood alone on top of the standings with 922 points thru 7 races.
Chase Ridenour of Perry, MI, turned 17 in March and was anxiously looking forward to running with Great Lakes Super Sprints. Not winning a feature yet this year, Chase has ran with great consistency making 7 features and having 5 top 5 finishes. The patience Ridenour has excercised this year has paid off and rewarded him with with his consistent finishes and the added bonus of rolling the car in the trailer each night ready to fight another night!
