Dover Hopes to Continue Winning Ways at Park Jefferson!

The Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprint Series is coming off a stellar weekend that lead to a record crowd at Off Road Speedway in Norfolk, Nebraska. Jack Dover picked up the win last Saturday evening at the inaugural sprint car race at the facility.

We look ahead to this Saturday as the stars of our series head north to Park Jefferson International Speedway in Jefferson, South Dakota. This 4/10 high banked oval has been successful for current points leader, Jack Dover, who also won the last event ran there in September 2015.

"We seem to do better at bigger tracks which has lead to so much success for us there. Our short track program is getting better though," Dover says. "Last Friday night, in Salina, we broke a rocker on the parade lap which hydro-locked the motor and we were unable to push off."

This minor motor issue lead the team to rebound and clinch his 2nd win of the season in Norfolk.

I wouldn't count out what looks like a resurged Billy Alley and his Ironwood Builders Team. He currently sits 3rd in the series points and clinched a podium finish at Off Road Speedway Saturday night.

Joey Danley had a remarkable weekend as well. His runner-up finish at Off Road gives his team a huge boost coming into Park Jefferson.

Racing resumes this Saturday evening, June, 25th at 7 pm. The event is co-sanctioned with the Midwest Sprint Touring Series. Park Jefferson International Speedway is located at 48426 332nd Street in Jefferson, SD 57049.
