Inside Line Promotions – LINCOLN, Neb. (June 14, 2016) – Mark Burch Motorsports is set up for the 2016 season.
Team Owner Mark Burch recently finished completing his new race trailer from S & S Welding, which is an industry leader in manufacturing custom built motor coaches and trailers. Burch’s previous trailer flipped over on its side during a violent storm last September.
“I want to thank everyone at S & S for the hard work on building us a new trailer,” Burch said. “We were without a trailer for a few months, but are now set up well for whenever we head to the track.”
Burch also shook down his sprint car last Saturday during a Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprints event at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Neb., where he made his first driving appearance in approximately a decade.
“We just wanted to work on some engine stuff and make sure we got any kinks out of the car,” he said. “We want to be hitting on all cylinders once Danny Lasoski is able to get back in the car. I want to thank Parker Burch, Cal Werner, Rich Werner, D-Wayne Gropp, Tom Dorr and Gage Dorr for all their help last week. I would not have made it to the track without them!”
Burch said he doesn’t have a set date when the team will make its 2016 debut and will tackle events this year that fit both his and Lasoski’s busy schedules.

“Steve Huggins has in excess of 40 years grinding performance racing camshafts,” Burch said. “He has been grinding cams for us since we brought our 360 engine program in house back in 1999. One thing I like about working with Steve is that even after all of these years of working on cams, he is extremely passionate about winning. He will do whatever he can to find the right camshaft that will work with your engine combination, chassis and driver. There is probably no part less expensive in an engine that has a greater impact on the performance then the camshaft. Steve takes great pride in his work and we take great pride in running his cams. Steve’s experience and communication of feedback is critical to our success. We’re proud to fly the Huggins Cams banner at Mark Burch Motorsports.”
