MYERSTOWN, PA. (June 13, 2016) – Since making the switch to Maxim officially on Saturday, June 4, Brent Marks has been on a rail, earning three consecutive top-five finishes during his last three feature starts, all of which in the heart of Central Pennsylvania. The Myerstown, Pennsylvania, native recently finished second at Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove on Friday night, June 10, followed by a fourth place performance at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown on Saturday, June 11. Marks has eight top-five finishes on the season, one in the form of a victory at Port Royal Speedway.

Despite the number of regional distractions, Marks will continue to point his focus toward competition in Central Pennsylvania, actively preparing for Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek that begins on Friday, June 24, at Williams Grove Speedway.

“Things have been really clicking. I love the car,” Brent Marks said. “We’ve been trying different things every time I’m in the car, and everything seems to be doing what we want it to do. We’re going to try a few more combinations this weekend before Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek begins the following Friday. I’m excited to see how things turnout.”

Brent Marks, pilot of the Brent Marks Racing, M&M Painting & Construction, BAPS Auto Paint & Supply, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Russell Heller Builders, KC Automotive, No. 19M, will continue his 2016 campaign this Friday and Saturday, June 17-18, with another pair of Central Pennsylvania programs. The “Myerstown Missile” will visit Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg on Friday night, June 17, followed by a trip to the “Speed Palace” at Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal on Saturday, June 18.

“We had some other ideas for this weekend, but we’re going to focus around home,” said Brent Marks. “We have Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek pretty big in our minds right now. I want to be ready and I want to work toward a championship. I want to thank my entire team for their hard work. Sometimes the travel gets long and the hours get long, but in the end, they are always there working hard. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their help.”
