Gengo Racing traveled to Glenmora Louisiana to compete with a 26 car field with the wings on. After the long haul to the Cajun state Hunter would draw a number two landing him starting pole in his heat. After a good hot lap session Hunter came back and stated "The track is very smooth and fast". This would put Hunter starting his heat race, with Rector and Battarbee starting behind him Hunter knew he had his hands full. Hunter would get a good start and wouldn't look back, holding Rector off until the checkered and would take his first heat win of the season. Due to no passing points Hunter would get the pole position for the A feature. Hunter would get a great start and lead 11 laps with a few cautions between, Hunter guided his way through lap traffic before the red flag came out. Hunter would restart good however would get tight in 1 and 2 and give up the lead. He ran second for a few laps and would get tight yet again and have Battarbee and Rector get under neath him for a solid 4th place finish. "The track was fun and fast, I really enjoyed it and look to come back" said Hunter.
