Well Deserved Weekend Off for the United Racing Club

This weekend the United Racing Club will have a week deserved weekend off after back to back 2 race weekends. Through 8 points races this season the United Racing Club win leaders are Davie Franek and Mark Smith with 3, followed by Ryan Kissinger and Greg Hodnett each with 1 and Cody Keller with the rain shortened URC/ESS race in April.

This Tuesday night June 14th, the United Racing Club will return to action as part of Brett Deyo’s Short Track Super Series Turnpike 25 at the New Egypt Speedway. The 2015 Turnpike 25 saw 9 time URC points champion Curt Michael in the Bill Gallagher owned, Valley Forge Inc, GEI Enterprises 5g bring home the win followed by 2014 URC Champion Davie “No Panic” Franek in the Franek Auto Sales #28f and Josh Weller in the Eldreth Construction #25.

The 2016 version should be just as exciting with top runners Curt Michael, Mark Smith, Josh Weller, Robbie Stillwaggon and Davie Franek to all be in attendance.

After Tuesday night’s action the Untied Racing Club will be making their annual visit to coal country and the Big Diamond Speedway. In 2015, the #25 of Josh Weller brought home the win. Look for the new #63 Victory Auto Glass of Josh Weller to be at the front of the pack again.
