Inside Line Promotions – FORT MORGAN, Colo. (June 6, 2016) – Zac Taylor is excited about his first opportunity to race a 360ci sprint car in front of his family and friends this weekend.

“Kaden Taylor is letting us use a 360 engine and we will be racing at Sweetwater County Speedway, which is in Rock Springs, Wyo., about 10 miles from my house,” he said. “I’ll have a lot of family and friends there. My girlfriend’s family is coming and like five of my teachers from the first through sixth grades are coming.”

The races on Friday and Saturday will mark Taylor’s first trip to the track this season.

Taylor is a “hands-on” driver as he spent Sunday and Monday working with his dad to swap engines.

“The 360 engine is a tight fit … we have to do some modifications to get it to work,” said Taylor, who is coming off a second straight podium finish.

Taylor advanced from fifth to third place in a heat race before he maneuvered from seventh to third place during the feature last Saturday at I-76 Speedway.

“In the heat the track was really tacky … no one had ever seen the track like that,” he said. “But by feature time it slicked off big time. We haven’t finished out of the top 10 all year so I’m pretty happy with how the season is going so far.”
