Rain Claims Lucas Oil ASCS Event At Brownstown Speedway

BROWNSTOWN, Ind. (June 3, 2016) The rain just keeps coming in Indiana, as officials with the Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Ind. have been forced to call off the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series National Tour presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network in association with the Great Lake Super Sprints on Saturday, June 4.

With a forecast of 100% rain all day on Saturday, rains have already moved in on Friday night. As the track has already received over two inches of rain between Thursday and Friday, the grounds have become impassable.

Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series National Tour presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network returns to action on Saturday, June 11 to kick off the 2016 edition of the Sizzlin’ Summer Speedweek at the Rt. 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas.
