The United Racing Club Swings Back into Action This Weekend

The United Racing Club swings back into action this weekend Friday Night June 3rd at Williams Grove Speedway and Saturday Night June 4th at the Selinsgrove Speedway. This will be URC’s first visit to Williams Grove in 2016, their previous date was rained out on April 29th. This will be URC’s 4th visit to Selinsgrove this year, and 3rd point’s race visit. Previous winners in 2016 are Cody Keller, Mark Smith and aga...in Mark Smith this past weekend won the Kramer Cup Memorial Race. Smith continues to be on a tear in the 360 ranks, doubling up last weekend at Selinsgrove and Port Royal Speedways.

Wantage New Jersey’s Davie “No Panic” Franek continues to lead the 2016 season long points stretching his lead to 35 points over 2nd place Robbie Stillwaggon. Ocean View Delaware’s Curt Michael continues to sit in 3rd 96 points out and still in striking distance of his 10th URC title. Franek continues to lead the United Racing Club in 2016 wins with 3, while Mark Smith has 2 and Cody Keller and Curt Michael both have 1.

This weekend at Williams Grove Speedway Pit Gate and Grandstand gates open at 6pm. Grandstand Admission is $16 and Pit Admission is $30. Hot laps are at 7:30 and racing begins at 8pm.

Selinsgrove Speedway on Saturday night regular admission prices: Adults $12; Students (12-17) ONLY $7; Kids 11 & Under FREE; Pits $25 Gates open at 5pm!

The United Racing Club will then have a weekend off before returning to action on Friday night June 17th at Big Diamond Speedway. Josh Weller picked up the victory in 2015 and will be looking to put his family owned 63 into victory lane again Friday June 17th.
