Inside Line Promotions – BILLINGS, Mont. (May 21, 2016) – The inaugural weekend for the GoMuddy.com National Sprint League 360 Big Horn Region has officially been washed out.
An afternoon storm forced series officials to cancel Saturday’s event at Billings Motorsports Park, which had picked up the show following inclement weather at Electric City Speedway in Great Falls, Mont., where a doubleheader was originally scheduled for the weekend.
“We did the best we could, but Mother Nature had other plans for this weekend,” GoMuddy.com NSL 360 Big Horn Region Competition Director Mike Quigley said. “It went from 75 degrees to 55 degrees in just a few minutes. It flat came down with hail and rain. I want to thank all of the drivers who towed here and were preparing to race this weekend. We’ll be back next weekend ready to start the season on the right foot.”
Billings Motorsports Park is scheduled to host the GoMuddy.com NSL 360 Big Horn Region next Friday and Saturday.
