GoMuddy.com NSL 360 Big Horn Region Rained Out at Electric City, Saturday Show Shifts to Billings Motorsports Park

Inside Line Promotions – WINDOM, Minn. (May 20, 2016) – Overnight rain has forced GoMuddy.com National Sprint League 360 Big Horn Region and Electric City Speedway officials to cancel Friday’s race.

With additional inclement weather projected at the 3/8-mile track in Great Falls, Mont., the GoMuddy.com NSL 360 Big Horn Region has shifted Saturday’s event to Billings Motorsports Park in Billings, Mont.

“We got hit with a bunch of rain last night and couldn’t even get in the facility today at Electric City Speedway, but we don’t want to wash out the entire weekend,” GoMuddy.com NSL 360 Big Horn Region Competition Director Mike Quiqley said. “We want to start the GoMuddy.com NSL 360 Big Horn Region on the right foot so Billings Motorsports Park is picking up Saturday’s race. It sounds like almost everybody is coming down and the weather forecast looks great so we should have a strong start to the season.”

The front gates are scheduled to open at 5:30 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m.

Midwest modifieds, super stocks and street stocks are also on the card.

CASH BOWL –

The GoMuddy.com NSL 360 Series has more than $500,000 up for grabs during the 2016 season. The series established the ‘Cash Bowl’ in an effort to allow racers from across the country a great opportunity to generate money. Any driver who competes in at least one national race and 15 regional races or 90 percent of any region’s events is eligible for the Cash Bowl, which pays $10 per point. The final night of a national event provides 120 points to win and eight points to start the main event. Regional races deliver 30 points to win and two points to start.

Additionally, the top five drivers in overall national and regional points at the end of the 2016 season will split more than $50,000 in bonus money with the national champion pocketing $20,000.
