Inside Line Promotions – KNOXVILLE, Iowa (May 18, 2016) – Danny Lasoski has high expectations for this weekend when Big Game Motorsports will compete in a pair of National Sprint League events.
The Muddy sponsored team is slated to head to Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn., on Friday for the $10,000-to-win Folkens Brothers Trucking Spring Nationals, which is the season-opening event at the recently renovated track.
“We’re proud and honored to be going to Jackson,” he said. “Tod (Quiring) and his team have put forth the utmost effort to bring Jackson to something in my life I thought I’d never see. It’s a phenomenal place.”
Lasoski placed 22nd during the Folkens Brothers Trucking Spring Nationals last year after being involved in an early crash. However, he posted top-four finishes in three other National Sprint League events at the half-mile oval in 2015.
“We had a driver error that cost us during the Folkens Brothers Trucking Spring Nationals last season,” he said. “Hopefully we can get the job done and bring the victory home on Friday.”
The Muddy backed team will wrap this weekend up on Saturday when the National Sprint League makes its season debut at Knoxville Raceway, where Lasoski has two feature victories and is currently second in the championship standings.
Lasoski won twice, placed second and ended fourth during four National Sprint League races at Knoxville Raceway last season.
“We have a great track record at Knoxville Raceway,” he said. “It’s very exciting that the NSL will be at Jackson and Knoxville this weekend. The competition will be really stiff. It’s two big money races. Our team has worked hard and we’re hoping to win both races.”
Lasoski competed at Knoxville Raceway last Saturday. He qualified sixth quickest, finished fifth in a heat race and captured a ninth-place result during the main event.
