On the heels of last week’s USAC Super 600 sponsorship announcement, USAC is pleased to announce that the champions from the USAC Jr. Sprints, USAC 125/250’s, USAC Wingless and USAC Restricted divisions will each receive a class at the Cory Kruseman Sprint Car and Midget Driving School.
“We can’t thank Cory Kruseman enough for this opportunity he is giving four of our champions,” series director Doug Lockwood said. “Cory Kruseman has been a great asset to the USAC brand over the years and to have him give back like this is a great opportunity for today’s up and coming drivers.”
In its first year of existence, the USAC Micros will offer points at all events at Keller Auto Raceway at Plaza Park in Visalia, CA, Dixon (Calif.) Speedway and at Limerock Speedway in New York. Points will also be up for grabs on three occasions at the Bakersfield (Calif.) Speedway and during one event at the Santa Maria (Calif.) Raceway.
The champion from each division will be the individual that has the highest 15-race average amongst the variety of tracks hosting USAC-sanctioned events in 2016.
Starting his Sprint Car School back in 2004, Cory Kruseman has had a tremendous amount of success in open wheel racing. The Cory Kruseman Sprint Car and Midget Driving School is designed to give drivers and fans an opportunity to get more seat time and learn how to safely operate at a high level.
