Inside Line Promotions – QUINTER, Kan. (May 11, 2016) – Zach Blurton will return to a pair of familiar tracks this weekend.

Weather has kept Blurton off the track the past couple of weeks, but the forecast looks good for races this Saturday at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Neb., with the RaceSaver IMCA sprints before the action shifts to WaKeeney Speedway in WaKeeney, Kan., on Sunday with the URSS Kansas Region.

“When you win and you are running well it makes you that much more hungry to get back at it,” he said. “We are going to Eagle Raceway this weekend and I had a very good run last time we were there.

“We timed in eighth and early in the feature I got stuck on the top and fell back to 14th. I got going and came back to get sixth. By far the toughest 305 competitors in the region will be there.”

Blurton was also victorious at WaKeeney Speedway on April 10. It’s a track he’s won at the last two years.

He has posted a pair of sixth-place results in URSS competition since that win.

Blurton enters the weekend ranked second in the URSS Kansas Region championship standings – only two points out of the lead.
