For Immediate Release - Midwest Micro Sprints Partner with POWRi

Belleville, IL – Effective immediately, the Midwest Micro Sprints based out of Kewaskum, Wisconsin has partnered with POWRi to create the POWRi North Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series presented by Cab Construction. “I approached POWRi to join forces and help get the Northern region a more consistent rule package with the rest of the Midwest and to grow micro sprint racing in the state of Wisconsin,” said Midwest Micro Sprints owner, Andy Rein. The POWRi North Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series will run for a $12,000 point fund for members, with memberships costing $100. The $100 membership fee will also give $100,000 secondary medical insurance. “This is a great opportunity to not only grow micro racing across the Midwest, but will also create a level playing field with rules amongst series” said POWRi owner Kenny Brown.

Each race will be directed by the individual track with representatives from POWRi at the track for administrative purposes. It should also be noted that there will be no entry fee, but a pit pass will be required. The payout will be a progressive payout, based on car count and will soon be posted on the DOWNLOADS section on powri.com. The POWRi North Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series will follow the same rules as the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series, and those rules can be found on the DOWNLOADS section, as well.

The POWRi North Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series will start 2016 this weekend at the Plymouth Dirt Track in the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds in Plymouth, Wisconsin on Saturday, May 14th. Featuring a 22 race schedule, 10 of the 22 events will be held at the Plymouth Dirt Track. On May 29th, the POWRi North Speedway Motors micros will run at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek, Wisconsin alongside the Bumper-to-Bumper IRA Sprint Car Series.
