Inside Line Promotions – GREENWOOD, Neb. (April 13, 2016) – Jack Dover recorded a top-10 result during his season opener last Saturday at I-80 Speedway.

“The car is in one piece and we got a top 10 the first night out so we’ll take it,” he said. “It was good to get the first race out of the way so we know what we need to work on with the team.”

The night began with a high pill draw, which lined Dover up on the outside of the fourth row for a Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprints heat race that featured Brian Brown, Dusty Zomer, Don Droud Jr. and Danny Lasoski, who all started ahead of Dover.

“We didn’t draw very well and then we had a pretty stacked heat,” he said. “We passed three cars so it wasn’t great, but wasn’t bad.”

That lined Dover up on the inside of the sixth row for the main event.

“I really fell back in the beginning,” he said. “I think we were back to 15th or 16th. Right before the track took rubber the car started coming in. Once we got to 10th about halfway through the race the rubber was in and we ran there the rest of the feature.”

Dover ended with a 10th-place result.

He is scheduled to return to competition this Saturday at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kan., with the GoMuddy.com National Sprint League NCRA/NSL 360 Region.
