Inside Line Promotions – PARK CITY, Kan. (March 28, 2016) – Danny Lasoski scored a top-five finish last weekend during the inaugural GoMuddy.com National Sprint League 360 Sprint Car Series event.

Lasoski piloted his own sprint car during the doubleheader at 81 Speedway thanks to a loaned engine from Mark Burch Motorsports as Big Game Motorsports continues to focus on the National Sprint League season-opening event next month.

“I couldn’t do this without the partners on my car, including Todd Creason, Randy Grages and Mark Burch,” he said. “I’m excited to get back in the Muddy car soon and I wanted to support a brand like Muddy and the NSL last weekend at 81 Speedway.”

Lasoski opened the event last Friday by advancing from third to second place in a heat race. He then charged from fourth to second place in a qualifier and was making a bid for the lead when a mechanical problem popped up midway through the race.

“We were looking really good,” he said. “I made it to second and was beside the guy for the lead. We sheared off a spud shaft on the power steering pump. By the time I got it out of the back of the motor our shot to race that night was over.”

Lasoski replaced the part prior to Saturday’s $10,000-to-win event, which he began by winning a heat race from the pole position. Lasoski then maneuvered from fourth to second place in a qualifier to rank fourth in overall points. That lined him up on the outside of the second row for the 35-lap main event.

“We were looking real good,” he said. “I just made the car too tight. They went out to try to make the race track so it wouldn’t lay rubber. I knew I had to be tighter if it didn’t. Low and behold here was the rubber about eight laps in. We went there to win and I knew I wouldn’t win if we left the setup alone.”

Lasoski battled inside the top five throughout the main event before posting a fourth-place result.

He will once again support the GoMuddy.com NSL 360 Series this Saturday at Randolph County Raceway in Moberly, Mo., before Big Game Motorsports returns to action on April 9 at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa, for the National Sprint League season opener.
